With skilled craftspeople at our own factory in Winschoten and experienced installers on-site, we manage the entire process in-house. Milling sheet material generates residual material. What we cannot immediately reuse in the factory is collected separately so that it can be turned back into raw material at a processing plant. In this way, we minimize waste and give materials a second life as an integral part of our sustainable production process.

Sustainability is woven into our business operations. We wrap products in reusable blankets, generate our own energy using 1,800 rooftop solar panels, and sort and recycle our waste streams. In this way, we are working step by step towards a more sustainable approach to interior construction.
The history of Interfurn
In 1942, Mr. G.H. Scholte founded Scholte B.V. in Winschoten, initially focused on furniture repair and the manufacture of children’s toys. In the 1960s, however, the company specialized in producing and supplying hospital and pharmacy furnishings, as well as laboratory furniture. After the premature death of Mr. Scholte in 1975, Mr. G.P.J. Helmers took over. In 1989 Scholte B.V. underwent a name change to Interfurn B.V., and Interfit B.V. and Interoffice Kantoorinrichting B.V. were established. All these companies were brought together under the Interwinngroep, with a uniform appearance through the logo and the corporate philosophy. Over the years, Interfurn has grown into one of the leading interior builders in the Netherlands. Through these years of experience, internal innovations, and the ensuing expertise and knowledge, we have the ability to translate your wishes into an atmosphere and, above all, a practical working environment.
