Interfurn is the specialist in high-quality interior and laboratory fittings for the care sector. From Winschoten we work with about 60 professionals on smart, sustainable and hygienic solutions for hospitals, care facilities and laboratories. We are growing and want to further strengthen our position. Therefore we are looking for a Sales Manager with courage and vision.


What will you do?

As Sales Manager you are Interfurn’s commercial face. You will primarily focus on acquiring new customers within hospitals, health centers and laboratories, and educational institutions. In addition you will open new markets such as general practitioner, dentist and physiotherapy practices and nursing homes. Your territory mainly covers the middle and southern Netherlands and Belgium.

You will uncover client needs, translate these into smart total solutions, and build durable relationships with purchasers, directors/owners, architects, contractors and construction management agencies. You will craft your own business plan, study the market and achieve your commercial objectives. Where others see obstacles, you see opportunities.

You will also oversee the overview, planning and priorities, allowing you to run multiple quote processes smoothly at the same time. You translate client needs into a carefully substantiated calculation and a clear proposal, in line with the applicable guidelines. In addition you ensure complete and structured dossier formation and you will hand the dossier over to the project leader carefully as soon as the quotation becomes an assignment.


What do you bring?

  • Bachelor level (HBO) of work and thinking;
  • Affinity with interior construction is a plus but not required;
  • Proactive, independent, commercial and entrepreneurial mindset;
  • Proven work experience in a commercial field service or sales role;
  • A network in the business world (it’s a plus to have this network in the middle and southern part of the country);
  • Strong project management and organizational skills;
  • The ability to switch quickly and set priorities;
  • Perseverance and persuasiveness;
  • Good social and communication skills.

Location: Hybrid working as the work area mainly covers the middle and southern Netherlands and Belgium. (Head office is in Winschoten).
