Draftsman / Construction Planner (Interior)

As a draughtsman/production planner at Interfurn, you work in the office in Winschoten together with about 25 colleagues. Your tasks include detailing (working) drawings for our clients and the production preparation of assignments for the manufacture and delivery of hospital, pharmacy, and laboratory furniture, custom furniture, and interior construction.

Interfurn is based in Winschoten and is one of the largest interior builders for the healthcare sector in the Netherlands. In our organization, about 60 enthusiastic professionals work on a high-quality product. Interfurn is involved in the furnishing of hospitals, nursing homes, laboratories, pharmacies, and interior construction. We realize interiors in every desired atmosphere.

What will you do?

• You will independently create the (working) drawings for projects based on the architectural design drawings.
• We use the 3D design package Ironcad, for which an internal training will be started at the outset.
• From these 3D drawings you will generate saw and material lists.
• You will provide all the necessary information to the purchasing department.
• You will provide all the necessary information to production.
• You will be the contact person for the client and will discuss details for the project’s executions.
• You are responsible for requesting product information from suppliers.
• You must work according to a schedule and you have the responsibility for this.
• In addition, you know how to distinguish between main and incidental issues.

What do we ask of you?

• You have a technical HBO (university) level of work and thinking.
• You have experience with AutoCAD and/or other (3D) design packages.
• Experience in (interior) construction is a plus, but not essential.
• You have a hands-on mentality and think in practical solutions.
• You have a technical background and affinity with interior construction.
• You can read drawings and specifications well.
• You reside in the vicinity of Winschoten.
